Nadine Dyskant-Miller is a composer and flutist originally from western New York State, now living in Chicago. Her music draws on her background in classical music, the traditional music of Québec, Ireland, and New England, and free improvisation, as well as her belief in a lifestyle that allows space for breath and observation.
She writes for a range of ensembles both traditional and otherwise, including orchestra, string trio, flute and singing bowls, flute and spoken word, and trombone quartet.
